Tiger Woods Crash Story Doesn’t End

Man, who would think an apparent fender bender would get so much play? But, Tiger Woods crash into a tree in the early morning in his driveway hasn’t slowed down the rumor mill. Seems everyone who has come within earshot of this story, doesn’t believe it.

The ‘official’ story is that Woods was driving out of his driveway, smashed into a tree, his wife, Elin hearing the noise came running to his aid, actually not running to his aid, she jumped into a golf kart and raced down the driveway to his aid. She had grabbed a golf club from the house, and smashed the back window to help get Tiger out. He got out, and then passed out in the street.

What’s the story that everyone seems to be believing? Well, Tiger and Elin were fighting about a recent report that he an affair with that chick we talked about earlier. She got physical, scratching and clawing at his face. He tries to escape the madness, and runs to his truck. She grabs a golf club and chases after him. He jumps in, starts up the truck and starts to pull out – no seatbelt. Wielding the club she smashes the back windows, he gets distracted and bangs the truck into a tree and hydrant. He’s not traveling at a high enough speed to deploy air bags, but he bangs his head on the wheel, and passes out.

When the cops get there, there’s no sign of a golf kart, there are still questions as to why he was leaving at that time. Now, sure the large majority of these questions are nobody’s business. Tiger wasn’t under the influence, so what’s it to anyone where he was going? That’s where it gets interesting. The cops are searching for a warrant, partly based on the idea of domestic violence. In all due honesty, unless Woods is getting the shit kicked out of him, left, right and center, it appears to be a bit of a ‘media win’ for the local cop shop.
