Tell ‘Em What You Heard…

After a dismal performance from a brutal performing England squad, an absolute heyday for the British press, and Wayne ‘Shrek’ Rooney’s surprise at being booed after his team lost to a 30th place Algeria, it might be time for a little calm. It’s also the day after in-fighting is being blamed for Frances pathetic performance, that and a Nic Anelka foul mouthed tirade against coach Domenech. We’re not too sure what the Ze Germanz are saying, but even the teams that have won, outside of the minnows of the footballing world, can’t be too pleased with 1 – 0 results.

I hate to say it, and I really hope I’m proven wrong, but this World Cup is the worst I can remember in terms of quality of games and scoring.

For England? One win, and they’re through, which is fitting, because that’s how it’s going to be from there on in anyways.
