Sports Rejuvenation…

Damn, if the last weekend was a whiskey bottle of a sports weekend, these days are the beer chaser. How happy are hockey fans all over that the Fyers have made a series of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Chicago Blackhawks, who undoubtedly as a young team seem to be struggling with that killer series that they’ve had all year. Many teams were in the position that Philly was in, with a Blackhawk boot on their throat, and this Chicago team crushed down. This time around, Phlly seemed to have bit off the boot. Momentum, just like cocaine, as Rick James would tell you, is a hell of a drug. And the Flyers have it all.

The French Open also concludes this weekend, and with that the biggest sporting event in the world will be kicking off in a few short days. The World Cup fever has also started even if Rio Ferdinand, and Didier Drogba have injured themselves out of the tourney. It’s going to be one hell of a ride.
