NEW MUSIC MONDAY: Tim Gilbertson

This week’s edition of New Music Monday focuses on a young Canadian artist from Edmonton, Alberta named Tim Gilbertson. His self-titled, debut album was released on Pop Echo records in 2007 and was received by generally positive reviews. He released his second studio album, Palisades, in May of 2010. The lead single called “Chipped Teeth” quickly grew in popularity on local radio stations and sent the band on an across Canada tour last summer.

Tim Gilbertson writes a mix of catchy tunes with crunchy guitars, soothing, unforced vocals and pop hooks. Below is the music video for the second single off his sophmore album titled “Sinners” and showcases the talented writings of this young artist on the rise.
