NEW MUSIC MONDAY: Everest
Everest is a folk-rock quintet from L.A. that was hand-picked to form as a group by music legend Neil Young. Young pieced together these musicians back in 2007 because of their incredible California-style harmonies. He then had them come alongside him to open on his 2008 North American tour and later signed them to his record label, Vapor Records.
In 2008, Everest released their first LP called Ghost Notes which included the hit song “Rebels and Roses.” Earlier this year they released their sophomore album titled On Approach which delivers a strong collaborative mix of great rock songs.
We saw Everest perform on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon a few weeks back and were blown away by their first release from the new album “Let Go”.
Here’s the music video…check it out!
