If there were actually pictures besides words in the dictionary, there’s a pretty good chance that beside the word ‘frenetic’, there’d be a picture of Flea. Michael Peter Balzary was born this week in Melbourne, Australia. He’s best known as one of the cofounders legendary rock group, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, he’s the bands base guitarist, and is considered to be one of the best of all time. He’d be most folks number two pick on the Mount Rushmore for bass guitarists.

The tune featured today is perfect for a Friday, it’s said to be a song about resurrection, and not just resurrection of self, but a group. This dropped in 1999, and marked the return of John Frusicate to the band as well.  The video shows just that too, with John driving back. The lyrics also speak to lead singer, Anthony Kiedis kicking his heroin addiction. They’re driving back into the scene, in a busted up car, playing busted up instruments.
