Mine, immaculate dream made breath and skin, I’ve been waiting for you. That’s the opening line from Duran Duran’s 24th single, and second successful hit following ‘Ordinary World’. Both were featured on their album, ‘The Wedding Album’. The album proved that the band led by Simon LeBon, weren’t just an 80’s band and carried them into the adult contemporary scene, they followed Wedding Album up, with ‘Thank You’, a record full of covers.

I remember this album standing out for me, because the liner notes looked different from most generic album inserts, and each song was given its own theme within the booklet. It didn’t hurt that it was filled with classics that most music fans can still sing along to today.
