David Suzuki stopped into town last night with his Blue Dot Tour – a conversation regarding making a better future, it’s rumoured to be Suzuki’s final speaking tour. He brought with him some famous friends, including Neil Young, Feist, and Margaret Atwood. Here’s the promo video for the tour itself:
Here’s a look at how the city on social media reacted, now, keep in mind, the show was fairly expensive, so that will undoubtedlyskew how much activity we’d see on Twitter and such.
What we did see a lot of though, was the appreciation for Shane Koyczan and his poem, ‘Shoulders’. You may recognize the name, Shane Koyczan, as he became popular after his performance at the Vancouver Olympics opening ceremony.
