Metric coming to Orpheum…Again

Our favorite band that just can’t seem to get over that hump has always been Metric. Hell, they’ve opened for the Stones, Dylan, and a ton of other massive acts. The first time you catch Metric, you always think, so glad I caught these guys before they’re absolutely huge. They just can’t seem to get there though.

They arrive in Vancouver tomorrow night, and play the Orpheum, and we wouldn’t be surprised if they’re back here playing during the Olympics. They always have a solid set list, and a great stage presence. On top of that, they’ve got Emily Haines. Schwwing.

They’re almost like a summertime version of No Doubt, it’s weird to listen to them if the sun isn’t shining and you’ve got a bottle of corona in your hand.

Supposedly Zeus will be opening for the band. Tickets available early Tuesday morning, and of course beloved scalpers.
