Concert fans have had their wishes granted. Paul McCartney will play BC Place on Sunday, November 25 of this year, with tickets going on sale September 14. It’ll be ‘Maccas’ first show in Vancouver, since 1964, when he showed up with three other guys.

McCartney last performed two songs at the closing ceremonies for the London Olympics, and previous to that played a few at the Diamond Jubilee. His last actual concert was in May as part of his On The Run Tour in Mexico City. He played a 40 song set, including two encores, and 26 Beatles classics.

Tickets for the BC Place show will go from $35 to $250, with VIP packages available.
