A guy that Brian Burke describes as a ‘big time prick’ will be a big time presence on shelves come video game release day. Ryan Kesler has been selected as the cover boy for NHL 2K11, following in the footsteps of Joe Thornton, Martin St. Louis, Chris Drury, and Rick Nash amongst others. Quite frankly, we’re just glad it’s not a EA Sports cover and feeds the EA Sports Cover Boy Curse.
Big ups to Kes, and hopefully he can package up his run of good fortune with a great run to and through the playoffs. His Olympic play has truly put him on the map, and made Canuck fans realise why other teams hate playing this guy so much. But, shit, ain’t you glad when he’s playing for you?
