Fight the Power

Man, this city is getting some seriously good shows and acts coming to town. The majority of them are charging top dollar, but they are coming, you got Tom Petty, Lady Gaga, Simon and Garfunkel are being rumored to make a stop, the list goes on and on. Jack Johnson is showing up too, kinda crappy that it’s in GM Place though. So, who’s the newest to join the mix? Public Enemy.

That’s right, maybe one of the greatest rap groups of all time, a group that created, what has been argued to be the greatest rap song of all time, Fight the Power is coming to the Commodore. Money venue, money group, money ticket. They’re charging just under $70, and while you can’t expect to see the same PE that you remember growing up, there’ll still be some heavy ass tunes. Flava Flav will still be bouncing around, and Chuck D will still be delivering gospel. They show up at the Ballroom on May 27th, a night that is sure to sell out, even if rap aint the best live genre (might just be the worst).

If you wanna see some legends, buy now, plus how can you pass on a group that includes Terminator X, and Professor Griff?
