Fence Comes Down..Kinda

The protests have been answered, no not the douche bags that smash department store windows, but those who let their voices be heard through non violent means. Maybe, someone should let the masked William Wallace wannabe’s know. As many of you know the Olympic Cauldron has been housed right by the convention center, the beef? Housed behind a chain link fence that keeps fans and mindful eyes a few hundred feet away, the torch provides no warmth except to Olympic volunteers and media. Well, VANOC actually has answered the bell, they haven’ taken the fence down, but they’ve kept a gap in the middle for camera lenses, and moved the fence quite a bit closer to the flame. Even better? They’ve opened the balcony of the glass building adjacent to it to onlookers. The building, which is rumored to be a high end restaurant, has a perfect sightline of the flame, close enough that you can feel the heat of the flame.
