Canucks Loss Has Silver Lining

Anyone who caught that Canucks sharks game over the weekend, or PVR’d it to watch the UFC, has a little something to smile about. We were without Willie Mitchell, Pavol Demitra, and Mikael Samuelsson and not only did we nearly win the game, we dominated for thirty minutes. A couple of posts and some auger inspired refereeing later, we came up short. But how can’t you be happy about the progress of this team? A northwest title and playoff spot all but locked up, a forward right in the thick of it for winning the art Ross, another in discussions for the Selke? And a conference title within/outside of reach? You’ve come a long way baby.
