3 Tunes Making Noise

Three quick looks at tunes or artists that are making more noise than others online. The first is the upcoming single, ‘Otis’, featuring Otis Redding, from the Jay-Z and Kanye backed album, titled, ‘Watch the Throne’. I’m not going to lie, the track is pretty regular, and, no, not even Otis Redding can’t save it.

Next up? A single from M83, Midnight City, from the album, ‘Hurry Up, We`re Dreaming’. The tune feels different, and is another solid taste of yet another solid dance, electronic act from France.

The Weeknd is quickly becoming one of Canada`s most sought after artists, and he`s only 21. Creating a sound that is unique, but not overly offensive, an almost indi-R&B, not cut specifically for radio. Not bad at all. Kid`s album, `House of Balloons`will be played at every house party, club you don`t show up to.
